WHISTLEBLOWING

Energy s.r.l. pays the utmost attention to ensuring that its activities comply with current regulations, also with a view to preserving the Company’s image and value.

 
The Company’s internal regulations outline its objectives in terms of clearly defining roles and responsibilities, in compliance with legal provisions and customer rights, guided by the principles of integrity, trust, accountability, transparency, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  
In line with the above, the Company encourages employees and third parties (i.e., all parties with whom the Company has a relationship) who are aware of information regarding an illegal act or an unethical act relevant to the Company to report it without fear of discrimination or retaliation. In compliance with the decree, the Company has established disciplinary sanctions against anyone who violates the measures protecting whistleblowers, as well as against anyone who, with intent or gross negligence, makes reports that prove to be unfounded.


To this end, the Company has adopted and operates an internal whistleblowing system in compliance with the regulations in effect at any given time, which allows for written reports (including anonymously) or record a voice message.

  
It is also possible to request a face-to-face meeting with the person designated by the Company to handle the report.

REPORTS SUBMITTED THROUGH OTHER CHANNELS


The confidentiality of the report is guaranteed even when it is submitted through channels other than those described.     
In particular, in addition to the aforementioned internal reporting channel, there are additional means for reporting violations, provided certain conditions expressly set forth by law are met:

​

  • external reporting, to be submitted exclusively to the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC). Please refer to the Authority’s official website (https://www.anticorruzione.it/-/whistleblowing) for details regarding the procedures for handling reports within its jurisdiction, in accordance with the regulatory provisions in effect at the time;

  • public disclosure, i.e., through the press or electronic media or, in any case, through means of dissemination capable of reaching a large number of people (including social networks and new communication channels, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram);

  • reporting to the competent national authorities, including judicial and accounting authorities, any unlawful conduct that has come to light in the workplace.
